KCS Summer Meals available for free at 10 sites. Breakfast and lunch offered. More info available on the kanawha county schools website.

Kanawha County Schools will operate summer meal locations for children ages 2–18 through the WVDE and USDA Summer Food Service Program for Children.

This summer, KCS will have 10 open meal sites where children can receive breakfast and/or lunch during specific dates and times. Families do not need to register for meals at these 10 sites.

Children may simply come to the site during the posted meal time.

Please note: meals served at open meal sites must be eaten on site. Food cannot be taken home.

All open meal sites will be closed on June 19 and July 3.

Meal Box Pickup Program

KCS will also offer a separate meal box pickup program at two USDA-approved distribution sites.

These sites will distribute 7-day shelf-stable meal boxes as part of a five-week program.

Meal Box Pickup Requirements

Due to specific USDA regulations KCS must follow, only the parent/guardian may pick up meal boxes for their children.

Registration for meal box pickup is not open yet. When registration becomes available, KCS will share the registration link with families.
